Following are photos I took at various times that I happen to like. I'm sure I'll have more than a few of these types of posts.

Lightning

The following shots of lightning were extracted from the video mode of my camera. At some point I'll have to get a camera with a sensor that shoots when it senses light. For now I'll just be happy with what I have. Hope you like them.

Sunsets

Alright, I admit it. I'm a sucker for sunsets. There's not much in this world that I like better than coming home after work, going out on my 25th floor, Northwest facing balcony with a smart cocktail and watch the sun slowly set in the warm summer sky. Some nights produce some incredible colours (somewhat due to pollution - it's only redeeming value) that compel me to drag out the camera and tripod.
The following photos are as they were taken. Nothing has been done to alter the photos and no filters have been used...oh yes, and no animals were harmed in the production.
