I took a nap so I could watch the first full day of the Olympics. I was sitting on my sofa just before 4am, when all of a sudden, my windows violently shook. I jumped up and saw, several kms to the north, the end of a massive explosion. I grabbed my camera and set it up on my balcony to capture the action. I was fortunate to get the movie function working on my camera and took a 2-3 min. video of rest of the main fireworks. The video was purchased by the Discovery Channel for a show called 'Destroyed In Seconds'. I took pics after my battery died as I couldn't focus well enough on the fire.
