Following are pictures taken from Doors Open Toronto 2007. Every spring for one weekend, various businesses, homes, museums and other places of architectural interest, open their doors and allow the public to view and take photographs. I really enjoy it as I get to do two of my favourite things - look at some beautiful architecture and take pictures of it. Following are some of the interesting places I visited. Photos are from buildings such as The Elgin/Wintergarden theatre (the only double-decker live theatre in North America, I believe), Commerce Court (incredible ceiling and chandeliers), The old stock exchange (with surrounding building by Mies van der Rohe), The Historic Distillery District and many other interesting places. Enjoy!
